Volleyball Recap: Harvard Cardinals vs. Lawrence-Nelson Raiders
Harvard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 32nd straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Lawrence-Nelson Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cardinals of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11.
Lawrence-Nelson can attribute much of their success to Addi Mccloskey, who had six digs and four aces. The dominant performance gave Mccloskey a new career-high in aces.
Harvard's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Lawrence-Nelson, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 2-7 record.
Coincidentally, both will both be playing Kenesaw the next time they take the court. Lawrence-Nelson will head out to face Kenesaw at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Harvard will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
