Basketball Game Preview: Sugar Hill Christian Academy Stallions vs. Genesis Academy Genesis

Sugar Hill Christian Academy is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against the Genesis Academy Genesis at 6:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Sugar Hill Christian Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Non Varsity Opponent and fell 63-61.

Sugar Hill Christian Academy might have lost, but man, Christopher Britt was a machine: he shot 50% from the field to rack up 29 points and six steals. Knox Britt was another key player, putting up 16 points and eight boards.

Meanwhile, Genesis Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 79-56 to Promise Prepatory Academy on Friday.

Sugar Hill Christian Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Genesis Academy in their previous meeting back in November of 2022, but they still walked away with a 58-53 victory. Will the Stallions repeat their success, or do the Genesis have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
