The Brea Olinda Wildcats will challenge the Beckman Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Brea Olinda sitting on four straight wins and Beckman on nine.
Brea Olinda is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took down Irvine 28-12. The Wildcats pushed the score to 28-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Vaqueros cut but never quite recovered from.

Brea Olinda's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Gavyn Nicholson, who rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns, and Kolotolu Liti, who rushed for 100 yards and one score. Nicholson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 117 rushing yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Brea Olinda was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 218 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 170 rushing yards in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Beckman strolled past Palm Desert with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 28-14.
Brea Olinda better keep an eye on Makhi Czaykowski. He was instrumental in Beckman's win, rushing for 146 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, and also picking up 55 receiving yards and one score. Noah Nam was another key passer, throwing for 130 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Beckman didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Sawyer Nickelson, Aiden Wimberly, and Xavier Musselman-Cano picked up one apiece.
Beckman's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Brea Olinda, their win bumped their record up to an identical 10-3.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. Brea Olinda has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 150 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Beckman struggles in that department as they've been averaging 169.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
