Union City has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lake County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Golden Tornadoes will head out to face off against the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Union City will be strutting in after a victory while Lake County will be coming in after a loss.

Union City took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 59-50 win over Crockett County.

Meanwhile, Lake County lost to Peabody at home by a 84-65 margin on Thursday. The Falcons haven't had much luck with the Golden Tide recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Union City's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points over those games. As for Lake County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Everything came up roses for Union City against Lake County when the teams last played back in February, as the team secured an 80-41 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Tornadoes since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
