Cox's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Ocean Lakes Dolphins as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Dolphins: they've now won three in a row.

While Cox might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Ocean Lakes scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-21.

Leading Cox to victory were June Culicerto and Ava Davis. Culicerto had 20 digs and one assist, while Davis had four aces and three digs. That's the most aces Davis has posted since back in September.

Cox's victory bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Ocean Lakes, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-7.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Cox and Hickory will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ocean Lakes, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Kempsville on the 30th.
