Football Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Legacy Christian Academy lost against Alpaugh back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lions came up short against the Buffalos, falling 28-6. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Buffalos are ranked 20th).

Legacy Christian Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Alpaugh, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Legacy Christian Academy will face off against Kings Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will be up against the Crusaders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.14 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Alpaugh, they will square off against Trona at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buffalos' defense better be ready for this one: the Tornadoes have averaged an impressive 29.3 points per game this season.
