Rye is a perfect 7-0 against Nyack since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Garnets will look to defend their home field against the Red Hawks at 7:00 p.m. Rye will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
On Friday, Rye got the win against Eastchester by a conclusive 48-23. The Garnets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 25 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Carson Miller, who threw for 321 yards and six TDs while picking up 14.6 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 81 yards on only seven carries. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 19 passing touchdowns on the season. Another player making a difference was Henry Shoemaker, who picked up 145 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Nyack, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against Fox Lane by a score of 27-20 on Friday. The Red Hawks pushed the score to 27-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Foxes cut but never quite recovered from.
Rye better keep an eye on Devin Bierfeldt. He was instrumental in Nyack's win, throwing for 288 yards and two TDs while picking up 12.5 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 96 yards and one score on only nine carries. Abdul Durosinmi was another key player, rushing for 105 yards and one touchdown.
Nyack didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Dominick Moran, Connor McGrogan, and Julian Silverman picked up one apiece.
Nyack's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4. As for Rye, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0.
The upcoming game will be a clash of competing strengths. Rye has relied on air attacks this season and has averaged 274.3 passing yards per game. Nyack, on the other hand, has relied on a stout run game: they average 153.5 rushing yards per game. So which strategy will prevail on Friday? There's only one way to find out.
