Basketball Recap: Aubrey Mathis' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Greenville H over HRK

Greenville H was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 42-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the HRK Eagles.

Greenville H's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aubrey Mathis, who posted 11 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Mathis a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Annie Hendley, who had six points and six rebounds.

Greenville H's defeat dropped their record down to 17-7. As for HRK, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Greenville H will be taking part in a tournament against State Line HomeSchool R at 10:00 a.m. on March 4th. HRK does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
