Meanwhile, Fremont posted their closest victory since September 9th on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out Lincoln East 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won four in a row.
Fremont wouldn't go down easily and took Lincoln East into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-22, 25-15, 17-25, 15-10.
Lincoln Southwest better focus on containing Everleigh Kerkman and Piper Evert as the pair were huge in Fremont's win. Kerkman had eight digs and one assist, while Evert had six digs. That's the most digs Evert has posted over her last six matchups.
Lincoln Southwest's record is now 15-7. As for Fremont, their record now sits at 15-8.
