Volleyball Recap: Manitowoc Lincoln Comes Up Short

Manitowoc Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Mukwonago Indians. The Ships were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Mukwonago had a senior duo take command as Erin Mierow had six digs and two aces and Amanda Esmeier had 12 assists and five digs.

Manitowoc Lincoln now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Mukwonago, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 9-13 record.

Manitowoc Lincoln has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Hartford on the 27th. As for Mukwonago, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Kettle Moraine Lutheran on the 27th.
