Softball Recap: Catholic Central Cougars vs. West Catholic Falcons
Catholic Central barely beat West Catholic the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Falcons on Saturday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
A Bockheim was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, A Howard was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
