Rocky Grove hadn't done well against Lakeview recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Orioles walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Sailors. The Orioles haven't had any issues with the Sailors recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

While Rocky Grove might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Lakeview scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-18, 22-25, 25-21.

Rocky Grove can attribute much of their success to Anna Rodgers, who had 12 digs.

Rocky Grove was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive matches.

Rocky Grove's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Lakeview, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-5.
