Basketball Recap: Antioch Comes Up Short

Antioch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals, falling 70-45. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Royals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Antioch's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Antioch will face off against Tennessee Heat at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. As for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet, they will take on Franklin County in a tournament on Tuesday.
