Basketball Recap: Washburn Drops Season-High Score on Center-Stanton

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Washburn). They claimed a resounding 77-28 win over the Center-Stanton Wildcats. The Cardinals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 20 points or more this season.

Washburn's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 17.3 points over those games. As for Center-Stanton, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.

Washburn has already played their next match, a 43-39 win against Garrison on the 15th. As for Center-Stanton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 41-26 victory against Mandaree on the 15th.
