Volleyball Recap: Seminole Ridge Comes Up Short

Seminole Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Elizabethtown Panthers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-11.

Capri Corey paced Seminole Ridge's offense, picking up four kills. Corey got some help from Ivanna Sierra and her six assists.

Seminole Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Elizabethtown, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Seminole Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Dwyer on the 30th. As for Elizabethtown, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Union on the 30th.
