Basketball Game Preview: King's Way Christian Knights vs. Fort Vancouver Trappers

The King's Way Christian Knights will square off against the Fort Vancouver Trappers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (King's Way Christian has five straight wins, Fort Vancouver has 16 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Thursday, King's Way Christian didn't have too much trouble with La Center as they won 40-23. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Wildcats are ranked 279th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Fort Vancouver had to suffer through a 61-16 loss at the hands of Columbia.

King's Way Christian is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Fort Vancouver, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-17.

Everything came up roses for King's Way Christian against Fort Vancouver in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 63-26 victory. Does King's Way Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Fort Vancouver turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
