It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Polk County had no problem doing just that on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the West Caldwell Warriors 3-2. Winning may never get old, but Polk County sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Cooper Meyer and Thomas Varnadore scored all three of Polk County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 42 goals.

Polk County's victory bumped their record up to 16-0-3. As for West Caldwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-7-1.

Coming up, Polk County will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Patton at 6:00 p.m. Polk County will need to watch out since Patton have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests. West Caldwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
