Volleyball Recap: Meridian's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

It was a good run, but Meridian unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Warren County Wildcats by a score of 3-2. The Mustangs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Warren County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Meridian will challenge rival Skyline at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Warren County is set to square off against their familiar foe James Wood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
