Softball Recap: Oscoda Comes Up Short

Oscoda suffered their biggest defeat since April 27th on Wednesday. They came up short against the Inland Lakes Bulldogs, falling 15-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 on Wednesday.

Oscoda saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maryna Curley, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Oscoda and nudges their season record down to 9-7. As for Inland Lakes, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oscoda will face off against Mio-Au Sable at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Inland Lakes, they will be playing at home against East Jordan at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
