The biggest upset of the week belonged to McCann Tech, who took down 268th ranked McCann Tech, 14-8. Jake Earl threw for 39 yards and ran for 86 yards in the win.
Pathfinder RVT extended the longest winning streak in Tri-County this week by beating Ludlow, 27-0. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Pioneers.
The Hornets' dynamic duo of Justin Cote and Cody O'Niel proved tough for Franklin County Tech to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Cote threw for 119 yards and one touchdown and O'Niel had 52 yards receiving. T.J. Therrien helped McCann Tech's passing attack out by catching four balls for 42 yards.
McCann Tech's Cote and Dylan Darling have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Cote has thrown for 288 yards this season, while Darling, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has five catches for 79 yards. Earl from the Eagles leads the league in rushing with 379 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Pathfinder RVT takes on Franklin County Tech. Don Irzyk's team is currently in first, while Joseph Gamache's team is in third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Pioneers take on the Eagles. Pathfinder RVT has allowed 14 points this season, while Franklin County Tech has given up 62.
Easthampton/Hampshire and Ware played the most hotly contested game in Tri-County this week, with Easthampton/Hampshire eventually emerging with a 25-22 victory.
