After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hendersonville, Summit was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 35-21 win over the Coffee County Central Red Raiders. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Spartans as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Summit's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for Coffee County Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Summit wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-6 defeat against Franklin on the 24th. As for Coffee County Central, they have also already played their next contest, a 42-7 loss against Ravenwood on the 24th.
