Basketball Recap: Woodside Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Woodside duked it out withHalf Moon Bay on Wednesday. The Woodside Wildcats fell to the Half Moon Bay Cougars 60-56. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Woodside now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Half Moon Bay, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Woodside will be playing at home against Burlingame at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Half Moon Bay, they will venture away from home to take on Hillsdale at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Half Moon Bay is facing Hillsdale at the right time seeing as Hillsdale is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
