Basketball Recap: Progreso Red Ants vs. San Isidro Tigers
Progreso lost to San Isidro back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Red Ants were the clear victors by a 54-31 margin over the Tigers.

Progreso was led to victory by Ramon Gamboa and Samuel Hernandez. Gamboa posted ten points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals, while Hernandez almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards. Those nine boards gave Hernandez a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ivan Rodriguez, who scored 12 points and five rebounds.
Progreso's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for San Isidro, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
