Volleyball Recap: Flanagan-Cornell Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Flanagan-Cornell can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Fieldcrest Knights on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-1 loss two weeks ago.

Loss or not, Flanagan-Cornell got some senior leadership from Josie Hart and Carleigh Pfaff. Hart had 19 digs, while Pfaff had 20 digs.

Flanagan-Cornell has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-15 record this season. As for Fieldcrest, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-16-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Flanagan-Cornell nor Fieldcrest have any future games scheduled.
