The Carrboro Jaguars just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Westover Wolverines at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

It was a proper cat-fight when Carrboro faced off against East Chapel Hill on Friday. The Jaguars came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 39-30. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Madison Taylor and Yazmin Paisant were among the main playmakers for Carrboro as the former posted 22 points and seven steals and the latter dropped a double-double with 14 points and 23 rebounds. Those 22 points gave Taylor a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Allison Weiner, who put up seven steals.

Meanwhile, Westover beat Pine Forest 47-40 on Friday.

Carrboro now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Westover, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
