Volleyball Recap: Ravenna Takes a Loss

Ravenna saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Deshler Dragons. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Naomi Hervert paced Ravenna's offense, picking up four kills. Hervert got some help from Ebony Bock and her five assists. Bock also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ava Wroblewski, racking up two apiece.

Ravenna's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Deshler, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Ravenna has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Sandy Creek on the 13th. As for Deshler, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Meridian on the 13th.
