Washington had won ten straight road games dating back to last season and Katie Reed did her part to make it 11 on Tuesday. The Hatchets breezed past the Vincennes Lincoln Alices to the tune of 53-20 for which the team can thank Reed, who went 9-for-14 to rack up 23 points and seven boards. The matchup was her eighth in a row with at least 17 points.

Kyra Schuckman was another key player, putting up nine points. She is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 64% in the last three games she's played.

Washington's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Vincennes Lincoln, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington will host Evansville Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Vincennes Lincoln, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lawrenceville at 5:30 p.m.
