Football Recap: Arts & Tech Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westfield Prep, Arts & Tech was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They managed a 14-8 win over the Mt. Clemens Battling Bathers. This was payback for Arts & Tech, who suffered a 14-6 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Arts & Tech's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Mt. Clemens, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Arts & Tech will challenge Richard at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Arts & Tech will be up against the Pioneers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mt. Clemens, they will square off against Brandywine at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Battling Bathers will be up against the Bobcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 47.88 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
