Recap: Bainbridge Bearcats vs. Seminole County Indians
The Bainbridge Bearcats's three-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 50-47 victory from a begrudging Bearcatssquad. That's another feather in the cap for they, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Ahleah Jones was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on 16 points, 14 rebounds, and nine steals. Those nine steals set a new season-high mark for her. Kyra Green was another key contributor, scoring six points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Bainbridge's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6. As for Seminole County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.
Bainbridge will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Glynn Academy at 11:30 a.m. on December 28th. Seminole County will take on Manchester in a holiday battle at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at.
