Volleyball Recap: Central Extends Winning Streak to Four

Central waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Westfield Bombers as they made off with a 3-0 win. For the Golden Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Bombers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

While Central won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19, 25-23.

Mayanah Cabrera paced Central's offense, picking up ten kills. Cabrera got some help from MyKella Meadows and her 14 assists. Jayviana Algarin controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Central's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Westfield, they dropped their record down to 5-12 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

As of now, neither Central nor the Bombers have any future games scheduled.
