Vero Beach found their leader in underclassman Champ Monds, who threw for 277 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.1% of his passes, and also rushed for 43 yards. Those four passing touchdowns set a new season-high mark for him. Efrem White was Monds' top target, picking up 110 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Vero Beach, the win snapped their losing streak at four games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-3 record.
