Volleyball Game Preview: Rock Springs TIGERS vs. Star Valley Braves + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Rock Springs TIGERS and the Star Valley Braves will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Rock Springs is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wyoming's top teams: Evanston, who was ranked tenth at the time (Rock Springs was ranked 21st). The TIGERS took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Devils on Friday. The TIGERS haven't had much luck with the Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Star Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over Preston on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Braves.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 21-25, 25-16.

Star Valley had a senior duo take command as Hallie Hokanson had seven digs, five kills, and four aces and Camryn Mackey had 17 digs and five aces. Hokanson has been hot for a while, having also posted 12 or more assists the last 13 times she's played.

Star Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August.

Rock Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Star Valley, their win bumped their record up to 12-13.
