Volleyball Recap: Mooresville Comes Up Short

If Mooresville was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lake Norman on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blue Devils fell just short of the North Iredell Raiders by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Blue Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Raiders earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Mooresville couldn't get the win, but they sure gave North Iredell a tough time in the third set. The final score came out to 25-19, 16-25, 28-30, 25-17, 15-13.

Despite the loss, Mooresville still got an impressive performance from Reagan Young, who had 27 digs and three assists.

The defeat snapped Mooresville's winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 18-6 record. As for North Iredell, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-7.

As of now, neither Mooresville nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
