Recap: Pembroke Dragons vs. Kendall Eagles
After soaring to 55 points the game before, the Pembroke Dragons were a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They took a 36-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kendall. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Pembroke has scored all season.
Peyton Liss and Onolee Easterbrook certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Liss scored seven points along with five steals, while Easterbrook scored a point along with six rebounds and six steals. Easterbrook hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Pembroke struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Pembroke's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Kendall, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.
Pembroke will head out on the road to square off against the Bees at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kendall will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on the Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
