After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wooster, South Tahoe was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Sparks Railroaders by a score of 7-2. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Railroaders: they've now won nine in a row.

The team relied heavily on Ryland Wright, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Parker Bryant, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

South Tahoe's win bumped their record up to 2-13. As for Sparks, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: South Tahoe beat the Railroaders by a score of 20-1 later that day.
