Volleyball Recap: Emma Cline and Bailey Cline Secure Win for Irvington Preparatory Academy

Irvington Preparatory Academy not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since August 21st (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Indianapolis Washington Continentals with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for Irvington Preparatory Academy in their matchups with Indianapolis Washington: they've now won five in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-10, 25-20.

Irvington Preparatory Academy was led to victory by Bailey Cline and Emma Cline. Bailey had 12 aces and six kills, while Emma had eight kills and seven aces. Those eight kills gave Emma a new career-high.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 7-10. As for Indianapolis Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Irvington Preparatory Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Tindley on the 30th. As for Indianapolis Washington, they will square off against Purdue Broad Ripple at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
