Basketball Recap: Discovery Skates Past Sebring with Ease

Discovery won the last time they faced Sebring and things went their way on Thursday too. The Discovery Spartans took their game with ease, bagging a 79-33 victory over the Sebring Blue Streaks. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 30 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Discovery to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jeremy Nixon, who posted 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Darius Livingston, who scored 22 points.

When it comes to explaining why Sebring lost, don't look at Kaleb Nobles. Despite the final result, he put up 15 points. Another player making a difference was Aiden Toney, who had six points.

Discovery pushed their record up to 14-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 32.2 points. As for Sebring, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-10.

Discovery wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-66 defeat against Gateway Charter on the 18th. Sebring has also already played their next game (against Haines City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
