Baseball Recap: Rowland's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Rowland brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They put the hurt on The Webb Schools Gauls with a sharp 12-5 victory on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Raiders as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Nathanael Li was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. He also put up a triple, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Sonny O'Neal, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Rowland was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2024.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-5.
