Football Recap: Sipsey Valley Takes a Loss

Sipsey Valley lost against Demopolis back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bears fell 28-20 to the Tigers. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Sipsey Valley lost, don't look at Isaiah Bennett. Despite the final result, he rushed for 100 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 33 receiving yards. Bennett was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 52 yards.

Sipsey Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Demopolis, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Sipsey Valley has already played their next matchup, a 62-28 victory against Montevallo on the 17th. As for Demopolis, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-8 win against Jemison on the 17th.
