Volleyball Recap: Bandys Beats Bunker Hill for Their Third Straight Victory

Bandys entered their tilt with Bunker Hill on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bears 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11, 25-16.

Peyton Laney paced Bandys' offense, picking up six kills. Laney got some help from Camdyn Earnhardt and her 12 assists. Earnhardt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Bandys now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Bunker Hill, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Bandys will square off against rival Newton-Conover at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bunker Hill is set to face off against their familiar foe East Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
