Madison lost to West Central back in September, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Bulldogs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Trojans, sneaking past 2-1.

Madison had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-23, 25-22.

Lydia Nelson paced Madison's offense, picking up 18 kills. Nelson got some help from Karley Theede C and her 33 assists. Ella Malone and Jaya Engels kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Madison's win bumped their record up to 15-10. As for West Central, they dropped their record down to 15-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Madison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Elk Point-Jefferson on the 18th. As for West Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Canton on the 18th.
