Basketball Recap: River Bluff Takes a Loss

River Bluff had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the J.L. Mann Patriots on Monday, falling 63-41.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead J.L. Mann to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luke Foster, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Scales, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and nine rebounds.

The victory (which was J.L. Mann's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

River Bluff wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 59-53 defeat against Lugoff-Elgin on the 25th. As for J.L. Mann, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 76-54 loss against Dutch Fork on the 25th.
