Volleyball Recap: East Rowan Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

East Rowan dropped to 18-11 on Tuesday, ending the team's seven-match streak of wins at home. They came up short against the South Rowan Raiders, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since September 5th.

Alli Corl paced East Rowan's offense, picking up 13 kills. Corl got some help from Jacee Eudy and her 16 assists. Corl was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

As for South Rowan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-5 record this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory they have posted against East Rowan since October 11, 2023.

Leading South Rowan to victory were Raegan Shell and Campbell Withers. Shell had six digs and four aces, while Withers had nine digs and three assists. Those four aces gave Shell a new career-high.

East Rowan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Rowan, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Carson on the 15th.
