Chiles extended their postseason success on Thursday against Lincoln. They blew past the Trojans 3-0. The win was nothing new for the Timberwolves as they're now sitting on 12 straight.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chiles took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-6, 25-9.
Chiles was led to victory by Natalie Gibson and Madison Joyner. Gibson had ten digs and two aces, while Joyner had 14 digs and eight assists. Those eight assists gave Joyner a new career-high. Loganne Abernathy also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.
Chiles' victory bumped their record up to 26-1. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.
