Basketball Recap: Santa Rosa Christian Wins Going Away Against East Hill Christian

Santa Rosa Christian's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 54-36 win over the East Hill Christian Eagles. The score was all tied up 21-21 at the break, but Santa Rosa Christian was the (much) better team in the second half.

East Hill Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Austin Lockard, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds, and Hudson Hooten, who posted 13 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. That was a full 36.1% of East Hill Christian's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points.

Santa Rosa Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for East Hill Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Santa Rosa Christian will host Washington County Christian School at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for East Hill Christian, they will challenge Varsity Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on January 21st.
