Benjamin Davis is 7-2 against MacArthur since October of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Falcons will venture away from home to challenge the Generals at 7:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Benjamin Davis will bounce into Friday's game after beating Westfield, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. The Falcons' defense stepped up to hand the Mustangs a 6-0 shutout on Friday. Those six points were actually the fewest the Falcons have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Meanwhile, MacArthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 37-7 loss at the hands of Dekaney. The contest was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but the Generals couldn't quite close it out.

The win made it two in a row for Benjamin Davis and bumps their season record up to 6-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 points in those games. As for MacArthur, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Friday's matchup might be decided in the trenches. Benjamin Davis has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 172.6 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for MacArthur, though, as they've been averaging only 84.3 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?

Everything came up roses for Benjamin Davis against MacArthur in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 35-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
