It was a good run, but Phoenix Country Day unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-match winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Veritas Prep Falcons by a score of 3-2. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
