After only nine points in their last game, Plymouth made sure to put some points up on the board against Merrimack Valley on Friday. The Bobcats simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Pride 35-3. Considering the Bobcats have won six matchups by more than 29 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Cavan Sanborn had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 57 yards and one TD on only five carries, and also threw for 96 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only six passes.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Plymouth proved: they limited Merrimack Valley to a paltry 2.5 yards per carry. The Bobcats didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 10.7.

Plymouth's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Merrimack Valley, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-8.

Coming up, Plymouth will face off against St. Thomas Aquinas at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Merrimack Valley, they will square off against Pembroke at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pride will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 45.57 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
