Laurel Hill not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4th (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Florala Wildcats. The Hoboes haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Laurel Hill was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-16, 25-17.

Andrea Barnhill paced Laurel Hill's offense, picking up nine kills. Barnhill got some help from Carlee Boddy and her 12 assists. Savannah Riley controlled things from the service line, finishing with ten aces.

The win got Laurel Hill back to even at 8-8. As for Florala, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Laurel Hill will take on Northview at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Florala, after both having extra time off, they and Pleasant Home will shake off the rust and duke it out at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
