Even though the South Titans scored an imposing 57 points on Tuesday, the Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles still came out on top. Bishop Carroll took their contest against South 67-57. With that victory, Bishop Carroll brought their scoring average up to 51.6 points per game.

Bishop Carroll was led to victory by Ian Muth and John Hauserman. Muth scored 20 points along with two steals, while Hauserman scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hauserman has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Reese Peterson, who scored seven points along with eight assists and three steals.

Bishop Carroll's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-6. As for South, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Carroll will take on McPherson at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in McPherson's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for South, they will head out on the road to square off against West at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kansas (West is ranked 177th, while South is ranked 183rd).
